Tough Love in "Pa pa ra pa pa, Love Ko Toh" Kiddie Traning

Many times I heard about "tough love"., which is especially applicable to the vulnerability of a solo parent like me. Chris VG (2017) from urbandictionary.com defines it as another version of "being cruel to be kind". He said that showing someone tough love today will save them heartache in the future but may cause a small amount of upset for the receiver immediately after the "Tough Love" has been dispensed. More sufferings await if there's no interference done to a person.

Tough love for me is the kind of parenting I need to employ. It means that my love should not be weak and I must nurture my child with a strict guidance and proper discipline so as to acquire the values in life and achieve the good character.

It has been said that we learn values through work. Our characters are built by the values we learn as a young child. As we grow older, these values remain on us and they are the strong foundation of who we are at present. With this rationalization, I considered bringing my child to a meaningful summer activity that allows him to have fun and to learn.

It is not the first time I heard about the Mcdo Kiddie Crew Training but since we always go out of the country every summer, we usually miss this kind of opportunity. This year, we had the time and it was my son's chance to experience this summer program with his fellow kids.

Mcdonald's Regalado branch offers a five-day fun filled workshop. The branch is only ten- minute away from our place via public vehicle, so it was the best choice.  The last day was for the graduation. The kids get to learn the basics of being a Service Crew in Mcdonald's,

In the workshop, the kids experienced on-floor restaurant training (Lobby, Counter, Drive-Thru), Cheeseburger Making, Dessert Making, Scrapbook Making and song and dance numbers. The registration fee is 650 php, inclusive of the following: t-shirt, cap, bag, i.d. with lace, apron, chef's hat, scrapbook, kiddie crew CD, completion button pins, certificate and meals per day.

Indeed the program teaches children the values of discipline, hard work, teamwork, responsibility and sharing through art workshop, on the floor training and other group activities. It is also a great way to win new friends and keep a lifelong friendship.

What's more, even mothers truly enjoyed the entire program. The "we-can-make-it-happen" moms  have found great facebook friends from the workshop.

The Stunning Human Creation

An earthquake-proof tower with the record of being the second tallest in the world, Sky Tree Tower mesmerizes the visitors with the state of the art architecture of communications tower.

Located in the  Sumida City Ward, Tokyo skytree features its record holder elevator that can bring visitors up to the observation decks in a split of 50 seconds and the decks floor glass panels for brave viewers to see the earth below. At 634 m high, one can enjoy the 360 degrees view of the majestic landscape of the beautiful cities around the world.

At its base is a vast shopping arena with aquarium that provides both leisure and fun.

For tourists who have a very limited time of stay in the city, it is best to take the skyline trains at the airport going to Oshiage (the station for the Sky Tree). If one plans to see the Sky Tree, having an online reservation before coming is most suggested, since the tourist attraction is always crowded with visitors.

Life-Changing Spectacles

I didn't really devote myself into watching classic Disney movies or cartoons back when I was a child but I admired them for being hilarious and wacky and each with distinct characters like human features.Just like other children, the idea of going to Disneyland is a dream to fulfill.
Before my son turns ten, I savored with the idea of bringing him to the place before he lost the interest with the animated concept of fantasy.
On All Saints' Day, we ventured to Hong Kong Disneyland to witness the dreamy spectacles right before our eyes. Before the attraction, we saw everyone just found the best place where they could capture the mesmerizing event.Numerous people surrounded the gateway to the fantasy land. It started at 7:30 p.m. and we didn't happen to get a good place but we could still feel the thrill and see the astonishing gleams. I knew there wouldn't be any luck to capture the event. My phone was completely out of battery charge that time. While my eyes were dazzled, I thought of just taking the chance of maybe my phone would do some magic.
Alas, there was 1% charge...unbelievably my phone magically cooperated...
It was indeed a fantasy land!!!

There was music to accompany the dazzling sparkles from the Sleeping Beauty castle,..

gazing the startling fireworks
Ice took note of the length of the fireworks. He said that the enthralling scenes lasted for 15 minutes. The entrancing sensations that the experience brought us made me realize that this life is indeed magical. It brought a new hope and fresh beginning to both of us,
